“MY PURPOSE” ARTIST INTERVIEW

Guided by the philosophy that every style begins with a distinct purpose, we collaborated with Theory, a brand devoted to pursuing what is most essential, on an artist interview project. The first featured artist is film photographer Choi Rala. She speaks of life’s purpose as a form of desire—one rooted in the wish not to be alone—and how, ultimately, it leads to choosing a life shared with someone else.“I want to convey the feeling of realizing who the person beside you is, and just how precious they are to you.” The second featured artist is director Iwa Song. By placing life in a space without a fixed purpose, she encounters a series of moments. Embracing those experiences, the project captures her perspective on purpose as it relates to her life, fashion, and work. “I want to say that we should allow ourselves time to truly look at things—and live life a little more slowly, and gently.”
모든 스타일은 고유의 목적을 가지고 시작된다는 철학으로 가장 본질적인 것을 추구하는 브랜드 띠어리와 함께 아티스트 인터뷰 프로젝트를 진행했습니다.첫 번째 인물은 필름 사진작가 최랄라— 최랄라 작가에게 삶의 목적은 결국 어떤 욕망이며, 그 근원에 자리 잡은 혼자가 되고 싶지 않다는 마음을 통해 결국 누군가와 함께하는 삶을 선택하는 것이라 말합니다.“지금 옆에 있는 이 사람이 나에게 어떤 존재인지, 얼마나 소중한 지 느꼈으면 하는 마음을 전달하고 싶어요.” 두번째 인물은 감독 이와— 삶을 아무 목적이 없는 곳에 두었을 때 만나게 되는 다양한 순간들. 그 경험들을 즐기며 살아가는 이와 감독의 삶과 패션, 그리고 작품에 대한 목적의 이야기를 담았습니다."무언가를 바라볼 수 있는 시간을 가지고, 삶을 좀 천천히, 지그시 살아가자 말하고 싶습니다".
